EVENTS: GPP2ADRION Partners Meet in Skopje to Advance Green Public Procurement Across the Adriatic–Ionian Region

The GPP2ADRION partnership gathered in Skopje for the project’s 4th in-person meeting, hosted by the Business & Innovation Center (BIC). The event brought together project partners from across the Adriatic–Ionian region to review progress and strengthen cooperation in promoting the uptake of Green Public Procurement (GPP).

Held alongside the 11th EUSAIR Forum 2026, the meeting focused on the project’s key achievements and next steps, including capacity-building activities, the development of Local Contact Points, pilot actions, transnational collaboration, and the future implementation of GPP2ADRION initiatives across participating countries.

Beyond project coordination, the meeting provided a valuable opportunity for partners to exchange experiences, share good practices, and reinforce their joint commitment to fostering a more sustainable and circular economy in the Adriatic–Ionian area.

As part of the programme, GPP2ADRION partners also took part in the thematic session of the EUSAIR Annual Forum 2026, “Green Public Procurement Driving Circular Economy in the Adriatic–Ionian Region”, showcasing how GPP can act as a strategic driver for the transition towards circular value chains and more sustainable public procurement systems.
