EVENTS: GPP2ADRION at the International Workshop on Sustainable Procurement

On Friday, 19th September 2025, the GPP2ADRION project had the pleasure of taking part as a speaker in the international online workshop “Leveraging Public Procurement for Green, Social and Innovative Transitions”, co-organised by the ProcuraMED and Deal4Good projects.

Representing GPP2ADRION, our team shared the main results achieved during the project’s first year, focusing on our benchmark and gap analysis on Green Public Procurement (GPP). The presentation highlighted how GPP can act as a key driver for circular economy transitions, promoting sustainability and innovation across public purchasing practices.

We also introduced the next steps of the project, including the creation of a transnational cooperation network aimed at strengthening synergies across the Adriatic-Ionian area. This initiative will help engage new key stakeholders and further disseminate the project’s vision and opportunities for greener public procurement.

The workshop offered a dynamic and inspiring environment, gathering innovative projects and experts committed to advancing sustainable, social, and innovative procurement. It provided the perfect occasion to disseminate GPP2ADRION’s results, exchange knowledge, and build stronger collaborations across regions.
